Starting at the bottom we have a custom formed f\u003cspan\u003eluorolined silicone \u003c\/span\u003ecoupler that seamlessly mates to the turbine housing providing uninterrupted airflow where most needed. The carbon intake tube, well its a work of art. The data doesn't lie, this is a precisely engineered intake for any amount of air needed. We tweaked and modified this intake gaining massive amount of volume and aligned its flow path until we had the absolute highest intake velocity speeds. Rather than use the restrictive factory intake tube size we enlarged it to 5 inches at the filter. For a filter, we chose to team up with S\u0026amp;B, a industry leader in dry filter technology. This 8ply, Dry Extendable Filter than can be re used. These filters provide more air flow without restriction than a Maverick R is capable of flowing. We wanted to never reach the limits of this intake! Wrapped around the filter is RPM's famous hydrophobic pre filter to keep larger dirt and sand particles off the filter further extending service intervals. While some companies see bent sheet metals as a acceptable form of mounting intakes, they soon find out why its not. We use a 6061 2 piece billet mount that uses factory hardware for mounting and requires no modifications of the chassis.
